About Dr. Geoffrey Rintel

Dr. Geoffrey Rintel is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality surgical care. Born in New York and raised on Long Island, he grew up in a close-knit family with his loving parents and sister, experiences that helped shape his strong sense of integrity, empathy, and commitment to serving others.

Dr. Rintel attended Boston University, where he graduated with honors with a degree in Biology. He earned his dental degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and went on to complete his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where he received extensive training in complex surgical procedures and patient-centered care.

What Dr. Rintel cherishes most about his profession is the opportunity to care for patients during some of their most vulnerable moments. He is deeply committed to achieving excellent outcomes and approaches every case with careful planning, clear communication, and genuine compassion. His philosophy of care emphasizes trust, comfort, and individualized attention for each patient.

Dr. Rintel is actively involved in the community and places great value on service. He proudly contributes his time and expertise to Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine (LVIM) and Florida Mission of Mercy, helping provide essential care to underserved populations. Giving back is a core part of his professional identity and reflects his belief in making a meaningful impact beyond the walls of his practice.

He lives in Polk County with his wife, Stephanie, and their two children, Joshua and Samantha, whom he loves dearly. Outside of the office, Dr. Rintel enjoys spending time with his family, staying involved in the community, and following his lifelong passion for sports.
